Elopement Prevention

The GAC elopement prevention system is a revolutionary system that is changing the way residents are being monitored. Our intelligent clothing allows a facility to monitor an at risk resident without having to single out that resident—by having them wear a wristband tracking device. Most importantly, GAC’s elopement prevention system can monitor residents indoor and also outdoor. Thus providing an at risk resident the ability to enjoy going outside without having to be on a staff members schedule.

Traditionally, a resident that has been deemed at risk doesn’t have many choices without losing some of their qualities of life. Typically, the resident has two options to choose from. The first being incarcerated into a locked unit at an ALF, or being sent to a skilled nursing facility. Finally, GAC has developed an alternative that allows a better quality of life.
